Roles & Responsibilities

  • Pre-award head contract, consortium agreement, and subcontract risk analysis and negotiation support;
  • Contract drafting support and contract clause drafting strategy
  • Identification, documentation, and management of key contractual/commercial risks throughout project bid cycle
  • Identification and preparation of margin enhancing, claims, and other recovery opportunities
  • Detailed contract analyses in response to emerging issues and development of strategy in conjunction with key stake holders
  • Customer, partner, and subcontractor claim management, negotiation, and settlement
  • Coordination with legal team as circumstances require
  • Maintenance of contract documents, amendments, change orders and correspondence
  • Maintenance of bank guarantees, and insurance policies as required
  • Commercial vetting of subcontractor tenders and contracts, negotiation, award support and risk analysis
  • Assist Project Team in certification of subcontractor monthly Payment Claims.
  • Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
  • Preparation and support of major insurance claims
  • Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
  • Supporting the subcontractor technical and financial due diligence process
  • Ensure effective project commercial risk management is implemented
  • Facilitation of the effective transition from pre-NTP to project execution phase
